Overview
QPT 3115 KV900 FPV brushless motor (stator 31 mm × 15 mm).
Build fit
Fits 10 inch FPV and similar large-prop 6S builds. 900 KV is meant for 10 inch props (Quanteon's curve is on a G 10x5x3).
Typical uses:
- 10 inch long-range
- 10 inch cine
- heavier FPV airframes that need more static thrust than a 7 inch 2807
- 7 inch builds that have to carry extra payload (camera, radio, batteries) and need more torque than a 1300 KV 2807. The 3115 is about twice the mass of the 2807, so this is for loaded 7 inch frames, not a light freestyle 7 inch.
It is not a 5 inch motor: the stator and 108 g weight are the wrong class for a 5 inch stack.
Peak figures on the published 6S / 10 inch test are about 4.0 kg thrust and 1.5 kW.
